You can apply for a visa at several visa application centers in China. The British Embassy in Beijing processes applications from residents living in North China, Central China and West China. There are visa application centers in Shenyang, Jinan, Wuhan and Beijing respectively.

Residents of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangsu should submit their applications to the visa application center within the jurisdiction of the Shanghai Consulate General. They are located in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing.

Residents of Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian and Hainan should apply at the visa application center within the jurisdiction of the Guangzhou Consulate General. They are located in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Fuzhou.

Residents of Chongqing and Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces should submit their applications to the visa application center in Chongqing or Chengdu.
