How to apply for a student visa when studying in Norway?

1. Fill in the application form in duplicate and take two photos nearby.

2. Admission notice issued by Norwegian educational institutions.

3. Study plan and economic plan

4. Proof of English proficiency

5. Economic guarantee (usually NOK 80,000 per year). )

6. If the applicant is funded by the Norwegian National Education Foundation, please show the original approval.

7. If the applicant is provided with financial guarantee by the sponsor, the funds shall be deposited in Norwegian bank in the name of the applicant, and relevant supporting documents shall be provided.

8. The applicant shall deposit the money in Norwegian bank at his own expense and provide relevant supporting documents.

The processing fee for applying for or extending a work or residence visa is RMB 1 100. According to Article 26 of the Norwegian Immigration Law, the processing fee for group work visas is RMB 1 100 per person.

The working hours of the embassy are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Visa from 9:00 am to noon every day 12:00.
