Malaysian study visa application process

The Malaysian study visa application process is as follows:

Material preparation: ThinkBook 14+2023.

1. Enter the Malaysian Immigration Bureau (JABATAN IMIGRESEN MALAYSIA). On the application page, new users need to click "I'm New!" to register.

2. New user registration is as shown in the figure below, fill in personal information, and click "Register" after filling in.

3. After clicking "Apply Now", you need to select the visa type. If you are applying for a "Student Visa", just select "Student".

4. To enter the application process, students need to fill in their "VAL code and passport number", and then click "Retrieve Data" in the lower right corner to prepare to upload materials.

5. Upload materials. What must be uploaded is: passport personal information page, eVAL file (pdf) and TAL travel authorization document (pdf). The latter two can be downloaded in EMGS.

6. Confirm again whether the photo is uploaded in the correct format. After confirming that everything is correct, click "Proceed" to proceed to the next item.

7. Check your details and confirm that the information is correct.

8. In the end, you may call back and ask yourself to submit the air ticket and itinerary, and just watch the visa notification and status updates. There is no need to pay for the physical examination and air ticket itinerary.
