Kongzhuang Village is located in the southwest of Gan 'an Office, bordering Pingchangguan Township in the west and north. There are Sun Tai Spring and Autumn and Warring States cultural sites in Wandian Huaihe River and Sunzhai.

Kongzhuang village has flat and fertile land and complete agricultural facilities. Rice and wheat are the main crops, while watermelon and vegetables are cash crops.

Kongzhuang Village is a national large-scale water conservancy project, and the Huaihe River Regulation Project is located in the flooded area and dam of Shandian Reservoir. The dam with a total length of 3,700 meters, including 3,200 meters of Kongzhuang, is the first village that needs to be relocated and is the main battlefield of the reservoir project. The village has a population of more than 6,000 and needs to relocate more than 4,000 people. Therefore, Kongzhuang Village is truly the first village under the dam of Shandian Reservoir.

In recent years, Kongzhuang Village has seized the opportunity of the prophase construction of Shandian Reservoir and started the construction of a new rural community-Kongzhuang New Street, and moved the Shenzhai market at the intersection of Basha Highway and Ganping Highway to Xinjie as a whole, and the construction of a new market town has begun to take shape. According to the requirements of the reservoir construction progress, the reservoir will be filled in May 20 17, and nearly 4,000 immigrants from Kongzhuang Village will be moved to the resettlement area at the end of March.
