The boy is missing, the police are at a loss
The U.S. police have stepped up their investigation of a The search for a 15-year-old boy who disappeared three days ago in Dover, New Hampshire. The incident aroused great public interest due to various news reports of strange lights in the sky and alien visits to Earth around the time of the boy's disappearance.
Student Justin Foster was last seen Friday night. At 8 o'clock that night, Justin and two friends went outside to play baseball. The two friends said that Justin would go home after playing. Witnesses also said they saw Justin walking toward home at 10:45 p.m. Justin's sister, nine-year-old Kelly, said she heard her brother return home about 11 o'clock.
"I was getting ready for bed," Kelly said, "and Justin went straight to his bedroom. I didn't see him, but I heard him put on his favorite CD. I went to bed, and around midnight I was awakened by a bright light outside the window."
At first, the little girl thought it was the light of the full moon, but then she realized that the light was moving and getting closer.
“I opened the curtains and saw a huge spaceship flying outside the window. The spacecraft was surrounded by blue light, and there were many strange people with white skin and big black eyes standing in many windows. Creature. I was terrified."
Kelly said the craft then moved around the side of the house, toward her brother's bedroom. "There was a flash of light, and I heard Justin yell, and then the ship disappeared." I haven't seen Justin since. Aliens must have taken him.
Kelly then ran to wake her mother. However, Mrs. Foster thought Justin had spent the night at a friend's house, so she thought Kelly was just having a nightmare, so Sending her back to bed. Mr. Foster was busy with his road construction work that night and was not at home when the incident occurred. When Justin had not shown up at lunch the next day, Mrs. Foster became worried and asked her husband to call. Call the police.
Some people in Dover also claimed to have seen aliens that night. “This happened to me! ''Mrs. Mavis Wood said, "Those aliens abducted me on the spacecraft so that they could do research on me. Fortunately, they let me go home and I was not hurt at all. The whole experience was too It’s scary! I haven’t been able to sleep well since I got home. I think Justin was abducted by them too.”
When asked about the possibility of Justin being abducted by aliens. Detective Sam Peterson, who investigated the case, told reporters: "People sometimes make up these kinds of bizarre stories. In fact, there is no conclusive evidence that aliens abducted him. So, although we do not rule out this idea, but we are also investigating other possibilities. We won't give up until we know exactly what happened."

Himalayan Yeti, North American Sasquatch. Shennongjia Wild Man For centuries, people have been reporting sightings of a wild animal called the Himalayan Yeti in the Himalayas. It is said that the Yeti is a tall, hairy animal that walks on two legs like humans. It is believed that Yetis sometimes descend from the mountains and attack villagers.
In 1998, an American mountaineer claimed that he had seen a snowman on the Chinese side of the Himalayas. "It walked like a human, but had thick black hair. It was about 6 feet tall, with broad shoulders, long arms and big hands," he said.
In 2007, an American television crew saw 3.3 cm long snowman footprints in the snow near Mount Everest. They copied the footprints and had them studied by a scientist in the United States. He (the scientist) reported that they looked like the footprints of a similar animal called a savage. Some people believe that savages live in the forests of the northwestern United States.
The Himalayan Yeti and the North American Sasquatch are similar to the creatures known as the Shennongjia Sasquatch. There have been many reports of sightings of a wild man in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve in western Hubei Province, China. One of the reports follows a group of engineers chasing the creature, which moves with incredible speed and power.
Some huge footprints have also been found, and some say they belong to savages. Because of these reports and footprints, there have been several organized searches for the creature, but no solid evidence of its existence has ever been found.
Dr. Grove Kranz, a scientist at Washington State University, has been studying reports of these strange creatures for many years. He firmly believed in their existence. He believes that these creatures are related to a common ancestor that lived in Asia about 300,000 years ago. His theory is that the animal migrated to other parts of the world and survives to this day.
Scientists hope that the Savage Mystery will one day be solved. If savages really exist, we may have a chance to see them with our own eyes
Savages.

African Adventure
June 3 0 Dear Aihua, Hello. Sorry for not writing to you for a long time. I've been busy lately arranging a holiday with my brother Colin. Colin and I planned to spend a few weeks traveling before he went off to college. We’re going to a lot of exciting places and doing a lot of amazing things. First we are going to Africa. I can't wait! Have you been there?
We will leave London on July 5th and fly to Morocco in North Africa. We are going to ride camels through the Sahara Desert. This is the largest desert in the world – roughly the size of the United States! , I expect it will be very hot, dry, and dusty. We will travel on camels with a local guide, camp in tents and sleep on the ground. I have heard that in the Sahara, there is no shade during the day and the stars are extraordinarily bright on a clear night. I carry a flashlight with me so I can see in the dark. The entire trip will take six days. This meant I had to sit on a camel for almost a week - how uncomfortable! I hope my camel will like me!
After our camel ride, we will travel down the Nile River. We are starting from Lake Victoria. Not far down the river from Lake Victoria, the water becomes quite fast. So, we're going to go white water rafting. It's dangerous, but also very exciting! As a protective measure, you have to wear a helmet and a life jacket in case you fall into the water.
After that, we will go to Kenya to see the wild animals there. We want to live with the local residents in their villages. No matter what they eat or drink, we will also eat and drink together, including cow blood! Do you think I should drink it?
Because we need to hike for nearly two weeks, I have to buy a large-capacity travel backpack in advance to carry my supplies-food and drinking water. During the day we will travel across the land, following the tracks of wildlife such as elephants, lions and giraffes. Even though these animals are dangerous, we still try to get as close as possible to them so we can get some great photos. But don't worry about me, our guides all carry guns for defense - if the animals get too close, the guides can use the guns to scare them away. I really wanted to see an elephant up close and Colin wanted to see a giraffe. We will then continue on to Tanzania where we will climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Climbing can be very tiring and many people feel nauseous due to the thinning air, so Colin and I make sure we get plenty of rest. Our African leg of the trip will last approximately four weeks, and then we head to the Himalayas.
I will send you postcards to all the places I go!
Love you Toby

Shangri-La
Do you hope to have the opportunity to discover a magical and beautiful place in southwest China? ? If your answer is yes, then consider a trip to Shangri-La!
How to get there? Starting from Dali, drive north along the Yunnan-Tibet Expressway until you arrive at Zhongdian (Shangri-La), the capital of Diqing, which is 659 kilometers away from Kunming. There are regular flights between the two cities.
The world-famous Shangri-La in China
The word "Shangri-La" comes from a classic novel by James Hilton. Today, Shangri-La has become a common English word referring to paradise on earth. Hilton described a beautiful country where three rivers meet, strange peaks tower, and deep grass covers the earth. People who live in this perfect world know how to stay young forever.
Where can this place officially get the name of this wonderland on earth? There was debate over which tourist attraction would earn the nickname Shangri-La. Many years after the book was published, some people discovered that Shangri-La in the novel coincided exactly with the middle of the year in Yunnan Province, China. In September 1997, the Yunnan Provincial People's Government announced that Midnight was the Shangri-La in Hilton's novel.
What will you see in Shangri-La?
Three snow-covered mountains - Meili, Baimang and Haba - stand tall and towering one by one. Their snow-capped tops form a beautiful picture, so beautiful that you cannot describe it in words.
At the foot of the mountain, the sun shines on the dotted lakes, making them shine like diamonds against the gorgeous countryside. Herds of cattle, sheep and horses roam the green grasslands, and the surrounding forests are home to many birds and animals. In this peaceful land, people live in harmony with nature, away from the noise and troubles of the outside world.
Nature has provided Shangri-La with endless natural treasures, making this land a happy home for local residents.
The weather in Shangri-La
The weather in Shangri-La is so changeable that some people say that you can experience four seasons in one day. The best time to travel to Shangri-La is spring and autumn, when temperatures are the warmest and most comfortable.

The Mummy's Curse
Howard Carter is one of the world's most famous explorers of all time. He is fearless and loves to explore places he has never been before. He discovered many amazing things during his lifetime.
Howard Carter never went to school, but he learned to paint from his painter father. He is talented and full of curiosity about the world outside his hometown. In 1891, at the age of 17, he sailed to Alexandria, Egypt. By the 1920s, he had become an explorer, dedicated to finding the tombs of ancient Egyptian kings. He found many important tombs. In these tombs he found large amounts of jewels and gold, as well as the cured remains of late kings, known as mummies.
In 1922, in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, Howard Carter made his most astonishing discovery. Prior to this expedition, he had received financial support from Lord Caernarvon. Carnarvon was an Englishman who was very interested in Egypt. Carter's expedition was working near the city of Luxor. In this place, they discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamun. This is the most important tomb ever discovered. "In addition to the king's mummy, the tomb contained a wealth of treasures, more than any of us had ever seen before," Carter said. "After exploring the tomb, we sealed it. And hid its population. We will study the tomb later when we have more time, and then all its contents will be collected in a museum."
However, soon after, the Carter expedition. members began to fall ill and died one after another. The moment they entered the mausoleum, Carter's lucky lovebird, which he had left in Cairo, was devoured by a snake. Then, a few months after Carter opened the tomb, Lord Carnarvon, who was also at the excavation site, fell ill with a high fever and died in Egypt. At the moment Lord Carnarvon died of illness, all the lights in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, suddenly went out. Back home in the UK, Lord Carton's dog died almost at the same time.
George Gould, a friend of Lord Carnarvon, rushed to Egypt after learning of his strange death. He also went to the mausoleum, but fell ill with a high fever the next day. He died 12 hours later. Carter's secretary, Richard Besser, died of a heart attack four months after opening the mausoleum. Another expedition member, Arthur Mays, also died shortly after discovering the tomb.
In the past seven years, 21 people related to the excavation of the tomb died.
However, Howard Carter lived until the age of 65. Some say all those deaths were just coincidence. Others believe it has something to do with the mummy's curse, a punishment for trespassing on the resting place of the dead.
Still, others believe there is a scientific explanation. Those tombs contain a lot of viruses. When the tomb was opened, the fresh air stirred up the viruses. Once inhaled, they can cause illness or even death. Today, scientists wear special clothing to protect themselves when examining mummies.
But one thing is for sure, the "Mummy's Curse" remains a mystery to this day.

October 16, 2003
The most fun you can have in 21 hours and 23 minutes What could it be? On October 15, 2003, Yang Liwei answered this question. His journey into space saw him orbit 600,000 kilometers and circle the Earth 14 times in just over 21 hours. This makes him the first Chinese astronaut to enter space. He worked hard for many years for this achievement.
Yang Liwei was born in 1965. He has dreamed of flying since he was a little boy. His friends and teachers in Suizhong, northeastern Liaoning Province, said he had loved science and technology since he was a child. He always had a strong desire to learn to fly. His dream was encouraged by his parents as well as his older sister and younger brother.
In 1983, he joined the army and entered flight school. He graduated in 1987 and became a pilot. In 1998, he applied to become a member of the "9 2 1" project, now known as the "Shenzhou" project. He was one of just 14 selected from nearly 1,500 candidates. Over the next five years, the team members underwent various trainings. Not only do they learn all the subjects required to become an astronaut, they also learn survival skills and everything there is to know about spacecraft and rocket building. Among the various subjects studied by the team members, Yang Liwei's results were among the best.
In September 2003, 3 team members out of 14 candidates were selected to participate in China's space exploration, and Yang Liwei was one of them. He underwent all tests and was found to be qualified for the job. Although Yang Liwei did not get the highest score in every test, his high scores in various psychological tests eventually earned him the status of China's first astronaut. Yang Liwei's superiors described him as a hard-working man who was always in control. Because of these qualities, his leaders are optimistic that he will succeed.
In the end, Yang Liwei did succeed. His name will go down in history along with Yuri Gagarin and Alan Shepard. The Chinese people can be proud of Yang Liwei, and young people around the world will also regard him as an example of working hard to realize their dreams.
