Ancient Shenzhen

The exhibition is divided into five parts: the footprint of ancestors, the origin of cities, marine economy, coastal defense towns and ancient immigrants. Through hundreds of cultural relics, historical documents and vivid simulation scenes unearthed in Shenzhen, the ancient Shenzhen with more than 6000 years of human port opening and marine economic development history, 1700 years of urban history, 600 years of coastal defense history and a long history of Guangfu people and Hakka immigrants is displayed.

The new museum is located on the east side of the Civic Center, with a total construction area of 32,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 9,200 square meters.
