1, Guangdong lion
Guangdong lion belongs to the Southern Lion in China Lion Dance, which is an authentic traditional folk dance in Guangdong Province and a treasure in Guangdong Dance Garden. Historically, it was born out of the court lion dance in the Tang Dynasty. After the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, with the migration from the Central Plains to the south, lion dance culture was introduced into Lingnan area.
2. Guangdong Cantonese Opera
Cantonese Opera, also known as Grand Opera or Guangdong Grand Opera, originated from Southern Opera and began to appear in Guangdong and Guangxi during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. It is a performing art of mixing chorus, musicians playing music, stage costumes and abstract forms. Every business of Cantonese opera has its own unique costumes. The language of the original performance was Zhongyuan phonology, also known as Opera House Mandarin.
By the end of the Qing Dynasty, in order to publicize the revolution, cultural people changed their singing language to Cantonese, making it easier for Guangzhou people to understand. Cantonese opera was included in the first batch of 5 18 national intangible cultural heritage list published on May 20th, 2006.
3. Kaiping Diaolou
Kaiping Diaolou, located in Kaiping City under the jurisdiction of Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, is a unique local building in China. It is a multi-storey tower building integrating defense, residence and Chinese and western architectural arts. It is characterized by the combination of Chinese and western dwellings, with various styles such as ancient Greece, ancient Rome and Islam.
On June 28th, 2007, "Kaiping Diaolou and Ancient Villages" applied for the World Heritage Project, which was approved at the 3rd1World Heritage Conference, and was officially listed in the World Heritage List, becoming the 35th World Heritage in China, thus giving birth to the first overseas Chinese cultural world heritage project in China.
4. Hong Quan
Hongquan is one of the traditional boxing methods in China. There are two theories about its origin. One is Hongquan, which was taught by Hong Men, a secret folk society in the south of Qing Dynasty, under the guise of Shaolin. Another point of view is that it evolved from the local boxing in Shaanxi during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, such as Red Boxing, which has a history of more than 300 years.
Hongquan is widely spread, such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, Shaanxi and other places, and also has great influence in Hong Kong, Macao, Australia, the United States, Canada and some countries and regions in Southeast Asia. In Hong Men, Taiwan Province, the "Golden Mountain" founded by Zheng Chenggong in Taiwan Province began to spread. Develop organizations in South China, practice martial arts, and publicize the idea of anti-Qing and regaining sight. 5. Foshan Lion Head
Foshan lion head is an ancient traditional handicraft in Guangdong Province. It was founded in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and has a history of more than 200 years. Its biggest feature is vivid modeling, bright colors and exquisite and firm production.
