How to transfer Myanmar hukou to China?

If you can provide proof of residence in China, you can apply to the local city and county public security bureau for citizenship in China. If you have a Myanmar passport, apply as a Burmese. If you don't have a Myanmar passport, apply as a stateless person.

Instructions for applying for China nationality:

I. Application conditions

Foreigners or stateless persons who are willing to abide by the Constitution and laws of China and meet one of the following conditions may be granted China nationality upon application:

(a) close relatives of China people;

(2) Settle in China;

(3) If both parents or one of them is a child born to a China citizen, relevant certificates of foreign nationality at birth must be provided.

(4) Other materials that the accepting organ considers relevant to the nationality application.

After being approved to become a citizen of China, you may not retain your foreign nationality. China citizens' entry and exit formalities shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
