Invest S $750,000 (government bonds, stocks, funds or companies) in areas designated by the New Zealand government.
There is also a living allowance of S $500,000 and proof of an annual income of S $60,000 (this money does not need to be brought to New Zealand). The applicant shall prove that the source of investment funds is legal, and the funds can be donated or inherited by others.

S $750,000 can be invested in any of the following projects.
New Zealand central government or local government bonds
Bonds traded on the stock exchange.

Investment funds can't be used to buy a house and can't be deposited in the bank.
After the application is passed, the whole family can get a tourist visa for three months. Applicants must transfer their investment funds to investment projects in New Zealand within 3 months before they can obtain a 2-year retirement immigrant visa. If the investment is overdue, the application will be cancelled.
