Thailand has relaxed entry quarantine measures since March 1.
I. Latest policies
On February 28th, Tanagon, spokesman of the Prime Minister's Office of Thailand, said that in order to attract more international tourists and promote economic recovery, the Thai government relaxed the entry epidemic prevention requirements from March 1 day, and implemented a new "check-and-go" entry exemption policy, which reduced the previous two virus nucleic acid tests to one, and changed the second test to rapid virus test. In addition, the amount of COVID-19 insurance that inbound tourists must purchase has been reduced from the previous $50,000. The new entry inspection-free process is as follows:
1. Passengers who choose to enter the country without quarantine must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure.
2. It takes 3 to 7 days to apply for the "Thailand Pass" through the websites of Thai embassies and consulates in various countries.
3. Get the negative certificate of COVID-19 nucleic acid test within 72 hours before departure.
4. After arriving in Thailand by plane, take the previously scheduled 24-hour hotel shuttle bus and go to the hotel according to the prescribed closed route.
5. When you check into the hotel, you will be tested for COVID-19 nucleic acid and wait for the result in the hotel. If the result is negative, you can leave the hotel and move freely.
6. From the 5th day to the 6th day after entry, self-inspection was carried out with COVID-19 Quick Test Box, and the results were reported to the designated department of the Ministry of Health of Thailand.
Second, the epidemic in Thailand.
According to the headline news in Thailand, starting from March 1 day, the Ministry of Health of Thailand will treat patients diagnosed with COVID-19 as having endemic diseases.
It is reported that on February 25th, local time, Thai Deputy Minister of Health Ji Dipeng sent an urgent letter to public health doctors/hospital directors/general hospitals at all levels in China. The content of the letter is: Due to the rapid spread of epidemic pneumonia in COVID-19 and the discovery in Thailand, the phenomenon of being diagnosed as a mysterious Kelon virus strain is increasing steadily and rapidly. In order to treat patients diagnosed as COVID-19 as endemic diseases from March 1 day, it is hoped that the hospital will increase outpatient treatment. For those asymptomatic patients or infected people with mild symptoms, they can voluntarily observe at home.
Third, special reminder
If Thailand does this, it means that it exists with COVID-19, so it is still very unsafe to play, so we'd better not play first, and then wait and see.
