Applying for a work visa must provide
1. A valid passport. If the passport cannot be submitted, please provide the birth certificate and ID card.
2. A completed and signed visit visa application form (NZIS1015) and a supplementary form for Chinese citizens to visit, study and work in New Zealand (NZIS1027).
3. A recent passport photo of the applicant.
4. A work contract provided by a New Zealand employment company.
5. Employer’s supplementary form (NZISlll3 or NZISlll2).
6. Application fee.
7. Proof of funds required for the applicant’s stay in New Zealand.
8. Chest X-ray form for entry visa or physical examination and chest X-ray form (if applicable).
9. Notarized certificate of no criminal offense (if applicable).
Please note: If any of the above items are missing, the application materials will be returned.
Supporting documents
1. Copies of ID card and temporary residence permit (if applicable).
2. The original household registration book or a notarized copy of the household registration book.
3. Notarial certificate of affiliation (must have English translation). All immediate relatives (parents, brothers and sisters, spouse, children), regardless of nationality and place of residence, should be included in the notarial certificate.
4. A work contract provided by a New Zealand employment company. This contract must include your job position, description of responsibilities, salary, working hours, contract period and other relevant content.

Other requirements
1. The New Zealand Immigration Service reserves the right to request supplementary materials during the visa application process, and will store all information and materials in files.

3. All Chinese materials must have English translations.
4. After the application is completed, the notarial certificate will not be returned. (If we need to return the notarial certificate, a copy must be submitted when submitting the visa application. Otherwise, the notarial certificate will not be returned.)
5. If the applicant provides false information or is likely to cause If you misunderstand the information, your application may be rejected.
6. The processing time for visa application is about 30 days. If the applicant does not provide all the required documents, the application processing time will be extended. Please do not buy a ticket before obtaining the visa.
7. Once a visit visa is issued, it will not be extended. Applicants must enter the country within the validity period of their visa. Otherwise, the applicant needs to resubmit the application.
8. Applicants must leave New Zealand before the visa expires, otherwise they may be deported.
