The History and Culture of Tianzihu Town

In the Spring and Autumn Period, it belonged to wuyue, and it was called Yanzi Township. During the Southern Song Dynasty, it was an important military strategic place to resist gold in the Southern Song Dynasty. Thousands of years ago, Tianzi Lake was a place where businessmen gathered and culture flourished. The site of Wangjiadun in the town was 6000 years ago. Recently, tombs from the Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty about 2000 years ago were discovered, and a large number of precious cultural relics were unearthed. The story of the national hero Yue Fei's resistance to Jin and Mu's command is widely circulated. Wu Changshuo, a great master, took refuge here, and Xu Yaping, the world champion of kayaking, rowed from Shang Hu to the world. A long history breeds rich folk culture. There are three cultural exhibition halls for painting and calligraphy, farming and immigration, four intangible cultural heritages at county and municipal levels, and nearly 30 literary and art teams.
