What progress has been made in the relocation of the government's Changhua River supporting project in the new year?

In order to promote the preliminary work progress of Changhua River water resources allocation project, the Provincial Water Affairs Bureau and Wuzhishan Municipal Government organized a consultation meeting on resettlement scheme of Changhua River water resources allocation project, which was presided over by Liang Yuteng, deputy director of the Provincial Water Affairs Bureau, Wang Qiang, mayor of Wuzhishan City, Wang Yuxing, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Hydropower Group, Huang Mingjuan and Zhao Guanyu, deputy general managers, relevant business departments, provincial water affairs bureau, ecological environment department, planning bureau, forestry bureau and Wuzhishan Municipal Government.

After on-the-spot investigation of the locations of five resettlement sites and lifting yards, the participants held a special consultation meeting. The meeting listened to the plan report of the design unit, and after careful discussion, determined the compensation mode mainly based on social security and monetary compensation, as well as the resettlement scheme mainly based on nearby concentration and supplemented by relocation in different places. And put forward the opinions and suggestions of occupying farmland, ecological red line, ecological public welfare forest (land) as little as possible, leaving enough water source protection and safe distance. The optimized scheme can be used as the basis for the next resettlement planning and design.

Changhua River water resources allocation project is one of the national 150 major water conservancy projects, including Leya water resources allocation and water diversion to Dajishi, involving six cities and counties such as Sanya, Wuzhishan, Dongfang, Ledong, Changjiang and Baisha. Through the new Xiangyang reservoir project, water diversion project and the reconstruction and expansion of existing irrigation areas, the project will improve the regional water resources allocation capacity, meet the requirements of urban and rural water supply, southern breeding base and agricultural irrigation water in the project area, improve the regional ecological environment, and comprehensively enhance the water security guarantee capacity of important areas and important service objects. According to preliminary estimation, the total static investment of the project is about 9 billion yuan.
