Go back to where you came from.

In the world's first TV documentary "Back to Where You Came from", six ordinary Australians changed roles and risked their lives to experience a refugee journey.

Raye, Darren, Gleny, Adam, Roderick and Raquel, these six people hold completely different views on refugees and asylum seekers. They plan to test their inherent ideas through a challenging 25-day refugee trip.

Along the road of real refugees coming to Australia, they trace back to the most dangerous and desperate dark corner of the world.

Their journey began in Sydney, and after their wallets, mobile phones and passports were confiscated, they didn't know what they were going to experience.

Along the way, they learned about the life reality of those refugees who call Australia their home. They traveled long distances, took refugee ships and crossed the ocean to Darwin. They experienced the immigration raid in Malaysia, witnessed the difficult and desperate living environment in refugee camps in Kenya, visited the slums in Jordan, and finally arrived in Congo and Iraq, where they were protected by United Nations peacekeeping forces and American troops.

For some of them, this is their first time abroad. But for all of them, this is an epoch-making course and the most challenging experience in their lives.
