Can parents apply for a US tourist visa together?

It doesn't matter much whether you interview separately or together. If your parents are older and their English is not very good, I suggest you interview together.

American visas require original documents.

★ Personal passport

(1) Passport is still valid for at least half a year after returning to China.

(2) Passport must have at least 2 blank visa pages, excluding remarks pages.

(3) If the passport has been renewed, please provide the original passport.

Note: If you have an official passport, you can also provide it together.

★ Original account book

(1) Original of all the household registration books of the applicant.

(2) If the spouses are not in the same household registration book, provide the original copy of the whole household registration book of the other party.

(3) If it is a collective account, please provide a copy of the first page of the collective account book and the original of my page.

(4) If the children's household registration book and the parents are not in the same book, provide the children's household registration book+the parents' household registration book.

★ Original ID card

★ Two photos of visa application, two square 5 1mmX5 1mm color photos taken in the past three months, without borders.

★ Life photos are helpful for your visa issuance. If you have the following photos, please also provide them:

(1) Your family photo (preferably several generations under one roof).

(2) If you have been to Europe, Australia and Japan and have taken photos in these countries, take them to the embassy.

● Order: The whole flight reservation, hotel reservation, air ticket reservation and hotel confirmation (original or photocopy) are not necessary materials.

In-service (retired) personnel:

★ Proof class

(1) On-the-job certificate (retirement): Provide on-the-job certificate printed on letterhead in Chinese and English, stamped with the official seal of the company and signed by the person in charge. (I, spouse, relatives and colleagues cannot sign).

(2) Company business license: provide a copy of the business license or organization code certificate within the validity period (valid annual inspection stamp is required) and affix the official seal; Or provide the originals of these two certificates.

(3) Documents: If you have the following documents, please also provide them. Such as: engineer certificate, accountant certificate, doctor certificate, professor qualification certificate, work permit, academic certificate and various award-winning certificates.

(4) Marriage certificate: provided by the married person.

★ Asset category

(1)● Bank card, current passbook or time deposit certificate. Suggested deposit100000 or more. (It is best to provide current passbook or time deposit certificate)

(2)● There is a certain balance in the bank running bills in the past three months.

(3)● Real estate license or purchase contract and invoice.

(4)● Any one of automobile driving license, automobile purchase invoice, vehicle registration certificate and tax payment certificate.

(5)● Stock certificate or asset certificate of stock exchange.

Note: Please provide as much proof of the above assets as possible, which will help your visa.
