How to book an American visa?

After filling in the DS- 160 form, enter this website to make an appointment for a visa:/

Please make sure that your passport and DS- 160 confirmation page are at hand before filling in. After entering the website, choose China as the location, then skip the introduction provided by it and click "Login" in the upper left corner.

Click "New User" to create an account and fill in detailed personal information, including name, gender, address, telephone number, passport information, etc. The name should be filled in pinyin, not Chinese. The confirmation number of DS- 160 also needs to be filled in, which is the application ID consisting of the digit 10 in the upper right corner and the barcode in the lower left corner of the confirmation page of DS- 160.

1. Select "Schedule Interview Time" to start dating. If you want to sign a tourist visa, choose "non-immigrant visa".

2. "Select the embassy/consulate you wish to make an appointment with". Note that the selection here must be consistent with the interview location selected when filling in DS- 160.

3. "Please choose the visa type that suits you".

5. "Confirm that all personal information is accurate". The information in the upper part should have been filled in when registering users, and you can confirm whether it is wrong again.

6. "Add Peer". Add the spouse and children of peers, and fill in the confirmation number of DS- 160 in addition to the information such as name, passport, gender and telephone number. Remember to fill in the confirmation number of the other party's own DS- 160.

7. "Specify the service address of passport/document". At present, EMS express has been cancelled for passport return, and all of them are taken by themselves. The pick-up point is the outlet of CITIC Bank. Choose the nearest or most convenient outlet to pick up the goods here.

8. The current cost of "payment" is 160 USD. There are two payment methods for two weeks:

A. online payment. The link will take you to the online banking website of CITIC Bank, and you must register a user to pay. You can pay by non-CITIC Bank debit card, and you need online banking. Non-CITIC bank cards are free before April 20, 20031,and there is a handling fee of three thousandths after that. When paying, you need to fill in the cig number provided by the American signing reservation website. You can only see this number after clicking the second option, that is, paying at the bank counter.

B. Pay at the bank counter. After selection, the system will generate a confirmation file with cig number. After printing, you can take it to any online shop of CITIC Bank and pay in cash.

9. After the payment is successful, the system will automatically match your record according to the cig number, and automatically fill in the payment number on the payment page. If you have paid, but the receipt number is not automatically filled in, you can also fill it in manually. Fill in the receipt number and you can continue.

10. Select the interview time. At present, you can choose the time after 2 days from the date of appointment, usually once every half hour, and choose the time period that suits you.
