According to legend, there was a river in the southeast of the village in ancient times, which was rich in big carp. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Shanxi big pagoda tree immigrants built this village, which was called "Li Yu Village". After the river silted up, the village was renamed "Licun". Qinggan Stegosaurus, because there is a village with the same name in the west of the county seat, was later changed to its current name.
