Pingluo County was founded in the second year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1724). Qin and the early Western Han Dynasty belonged to Fuping County and Beidi County. In the third year after Pingluo established the county, two canals, Huinong and Changrun, were excavated and built to recruit people to cultivate seeds. 1727 and 1729, two new counties, namely, Xinqu (now Fuyao Town) and Baofeng (now Baofeng Town), were added in the county. In the third year of Qianlong (1739), two counties, Xinqu and Baofeng, were destroyed by the earthquake, and then they were revoked and merged into Pingluo County.
The county belongs to the narrow strip around Team Five. 1784, the Yellow River diverted westward, leaving this land on the east bank of the Yellow River. After that, the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu approved that the land still belongs to Pingluo County, and the monument is the boundary. 1930, the then Suiyuan province established the Woye Administrative Office here; In order to compete for this place, Ningxia established the Tao Le Administration Bureau here.
