Is the waiting procedure for K3 visa for American immigrants the same as CR 1?

K3 Application Process-Entry

1. American applicants apply for Cr1/IR1at the immigration office;

2. Obtain the admission notice from the Immigration Bureau;

3. Paper inlet K3;

4. Obtain approval notice from the Immigration Bureau;

5. The information is transmitted to the consulate;

6. The consulate sends the third parcel to the beneficiary in China;

7. Fill in package No.3 and send it back to the consulate;

8. Consulate issues package No.4 (arranges interview).
