How do foreigners change their driver's licenses in China?

1. Foreigners who already hold a foreign driver's license or an international driver's license can apply for a Chinese driver's license without taking a road test by submitting their passport, residence permit in China, foreign driver's license or international driver's license and physical examination form.

Second, foreigners applying for a driver's license in China must meet certain conditions. First, they must be valid visas or residence permits for foreigners who have lived, worked and studied in China for more than three months. For example, foreigners visiting China are not allowed to stay for a short time.
