BNot much really. It's more of an American tradition, so back home we don't really celebrate it. In fact, I am not even sure of what exactly is being celebrated!

There are not many things. This is an American tradition. We don’t celebrate this festival when we return home. I’m not even sure exactly what to celebrate.

AWell, the first settlers of Massachusetts arrived there because of religious persecution from England and King James. Once in the New World, they befriended an native named Squanto, who taught them how to harvest food from the area such as corn.

AWell, they had enough havests for the next winter and celebration. They decided to have a big feast for the natives, giving thanks to the land, and everyone for the foods, healthy and new lives.

Well, they had enough to survive the second winter and start a new plant. Celebration. They decided to hold a grand festival for the locals to thank the land for bringing them food, health and new life.
