Did you go to Essendon Keller College?
Brief Introduction of Essendon Keller College
Keller College in Ashton has a long history of nearly 100 years. The college is located in the west of Melbourne, close to Melbourne city center and airport, with convenient public transportation. It takes only 20 minutes to get to the city center by train. There are also many sports and cultural facilities in the area where the college is located, which enriches students' after-school life. The school has two junior high school campuses (Keilor Campus and Niddrie Campus) to provide good education for students in grades 7- 10. Essendon Campus offers 1 1 and 12 grade courses and a language center to provide intensive language courses for overseas students.
The campus offers a wide range of courses and has been recruiting overseas students for ten years. Most international students study in Ashton campus, and a small number of international students study in grade 7- 10 in Keller campus. At present, our self-funded students come from many different countries, including China, Viet Nam, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil and Germany. The school also has a foreign students department, which is responsible for arranging local host families for foreign students in need and helping them solve a series of problems in their study and life. Based on the serious attitude towards students, when choosing a host family, the host parents have to go through the police's examination of no criminal record, and in addition, the host agent and the director of the international student department of our school have to make home visits.
The students in this school have good grades, and most of them have been admitted to overseas and Australian universities. In recent years, the scores of foreign students in the college entrance examination have reached more than 99 points in three years, which is the result of students' efforts, and of course it is inseparable from the high-quality teaching and ardent care of college teachers. The school encourages foreign students to participate in a variety of cultural and sports activities organized by the school, including out-of-state tours, the first ballroom dance, driving lessons, Melbourne tours, campus drama performances, music lessons, sports competitions, etc., in order to stimulate students' interests in all aspects, improve their abilities, and cultivate students into talents in all aspects that meet the needs of society.
Good cooperation with Essendon Keller College.
Our center has maintained a good cooperative relationship with this middle school for many years. The two sides actively explored and boldly tried cooperation methods and exchange projects beneficial to students. Yang Hairong, JP, was invited to the school for discussion many times. On February 2 1 this month, Yang Hairong and JP were once again invited to the international department of the school to hold a symposium with the students. At the symposium, Justice Yang Hairong gave a detailed explanation and patient answers to the questions of international students. This includes explaining in detail the various ways out for international students after graduating from high school, and answering students' questions about choosing majors and universities, how to apply for student visas and immigration. The doubts and worries of international students before the college entrance examination have been alleviated to a certain extent. The school attaches great importance to this activity, and the person in charge of the school also tries to help students raise some questions they care about during the forum, which makes us feel the care and enthusiasm of the school for international students. The symposium won unanimous praise from students and teachers. In recent years, our center has helped many high school graduates to apply for visas, and also helped some students to design and register courses suitable for their actual situation, so that students can achieve their personal goals quickly, well and economically. Timely, efficient and thoughtful service pointed out the maze for the students, and relieved some students of their confusion about where to go in the future and their worries about visa affairs. All the staff of our center sincerely hope that after the college entrance examination this year, we can use our enthusiasm to bring timely help to more overseas students and provide high-level services, and sincerely wish you all excellent results in the college entrance examination!
