Information and steps required to apply for a passport:
Passports need to be prepared: 2-inch recent bareheaded color photos, household registration book (for collective accounts, submit the registration form of permanent residents), and ID card (or temporary id card). 1. Bring your ID card and household registration book to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau where your household registration is located to receive the Approval Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes.
2. Fill in the application form.
3. Submit an application, with special note: When submitting an application for personal passport, you need to bring the following materials: my ID card, the original account book and the first page of the account book, my information page, change page and a copy of my ID card. Fill in the original application form
4. After the application is accepted, immediately take a special photo of the passport, pay the passport cost, and receive the "Receipt of Exit Certificate for Personal Reasons".
5. get a passport. After the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau accepts the application, it takes 7 to 14 working days to approve and issue the passport. When you apply for a passport, you must bring your ID card or household registration book and the Application Receipt for Private Exit Certificate.
