Zhuhai Art Vocational College is an ordinary art college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education, incorporated into the national unified recruitment plan, and awarded the qualification of electronic registration diploma. At present, the College has five departments (Dance Department, Music Department, Art Design Department, Culture Management Department and Tourism Department) and thirteen professional directions (Dance Performance and Education, Dance Choreography, Music Performance and Education, Electronic Music Production, Hosting and Broadcasting, Cultural Undertaking Management, Performing Arts, Commercial Art Design, Environmental Art Design, Animation Design, Tourism Management, Foreign Tour Guides and Hotel Management). In September 2007, a new department (Department of Business Administration) will be established, and two professional fields (Marketing and International Business Management) will be added. Zhuhai Art Vocational College was invested and built by Canadian Jiayi International Education Group and well-known domestic entrepreneurs. It owns education, hotels, real estate development, industrial chemicals, fine chemicals, mineral development and other industries, with enterprises all over Canada, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and the mainland. At present, there are five schools, namely Zhuhai Art Vocational College, Oriental Foreign Language Experimental School (the finalist award of Guangdong Top Ten Private Schools, ranking first in Zhuhai private schools for four consecutive years in the college entrance examination) and Zhuhai English Training School (the world-renowned and largest fully-enclosed immersion training for overseas immigrants, governments and domestic enterprises).
