Who can explain to me what a real Shanghainese is?

Shanghai is an immigrant city, and three generations of Shanghainese are not Shanghainese. Shanghai locals are all in the suburbs, and there are few locals in Shanghai. In addition, some of them immigrated to Shanghai before liberation and changed to live in Shanghai. Shanghainese in southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang are proud of their ancestral home. They call themselves Wuxi people and Ningbo people. These people are real Shanghainese.
