The current situation of Yidu Tianlong Bay Scenic Area

On September 28, 2010, relevant experts from the National Wetland Conservation and Management Center inspected the Qingshuiwan Scenic Area in Wuyanquan Town, Yidu City. On the same day, the review meeting for the "Tianlong Bay National Wetland Park Plan" was held in Yidu City. Members of the expert team conducted an on-site inspection of the city's proposed national wetland park, Tianlong Bay. The expert group unanimously believed that Tianlong Bay initially meets the basic conditions for a national wetland park and recommended that it be included in the pilot project for the construction of a national wetland park.

The Yidu City Forestry Bureau received a document from the State Forestry Administration (Lin Shifa [2011] No. 61), and the State Forestry Administration officially agreed to Yidu City to carry out the pilot project of Tianlong Bay National Wetland Park. It is understood that Hubei Tianlongwan National Wetland Park has a total area of ??1,239.5 hectares, and the planned area involves 2 villages and 7 groups in Baiyunao, Gaobazhou Town and Shimen, Wuyanquan Town. In July 2010, the Yidu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government proposed the goal of restoring Tianlong Bay National Wetland Park and hired the Forest Products Planning and Design Institute of the State Forestry Administration to carry out planning and design. at the same time. The Provincial Government and the Provincial Forestry Department submitted the "Request for Instructions on the Establishment of Hubei Tianlong Bay National Wetland Park" to the State Forestry Administration on behalf of Yidu City. In December 2010, the "Hubei Tianlong Bay National Wetland Park Master Plan" officially passed the review of the State Forestry Administration. It is understood that the biodiversity of the wetland park is rich and stable, with 462 species of plants in 308 genera and 124 families, and 58 species of wild animals in 34 families. There are three representative egret colony areas with more than 1,000 egrets. By then, the place will become a paradise for 3,000 egrets.
