What is Vanuatu's new immigration policy?

1. Vanuatu passport immigration policy:

20 16 12 19, Vanuatu * * * People's Republic of China (PRC) officially passed the Nationality Regulations (Donation Scheme) Order No.220 of 20 16 in accordance with Article 12 of the Nationality Law. The decree lays down the details of the donation plan, through which funds can be raised, high-quality new immigrants can be absorbed and the national economic development can be promoted.

The applicant donated $80,000 to the Vanuatu Government Development Support Account through an authorized institution. After paying the down payment, the applicant has the right to apply for naturalization according to Part 1 12 of Vanuatu Citizenship Law. After passing the examination procedure of the Naturalization Review Committee, the application for naturalization can be submitted to the Naturalization Committee for approval to become a citizen of Vanuatu. It takes about one month from submitting the application to becoming a full citizen of Vanuatu and obtaining a passport.

(iii) The applicant shall produce proof of income and assets, which shall be certified by Vanuatu's financial authorities and approved by the Director of Immigration; and

(iv) The applicant shall pay the relevant fees according to the schedule.

(v) The applicant must issue a letter of guarantee, which must be certified by the relevant Vanuatu Business Council.

Application conditions

1. The main applicant is over 18 years old;

2. No criminal record;

3. The name of the principal applicant is more than HK$ 2 million;

4. Accompanying personnel: spouse and unmarried children under the age of 18.
