Linguistic Textual Research on Guangji Dialect

After the evolution of modern phonetics, Xinyang, Xiaogan, Macheng, Hong 'an, Huanggang and other places in Henan Province (roughly equivalent to the border of Gwangju and Huangzhou on Huainan West Road in Song Dynasty) were influenced by Southwest Mandarin and Jianghuai dialect, and more absorbed the tradition of Mandarin since Ming Dynasty. Qichun, Wuxue City, Huangmei County, Jiujiang and Anqing (roughly equivalent to qi zhou, Jiangzhou and Zhou Shu in Song Dynasty) to the east of Xishui County have the characteristics of the so-called "Xiajiang Mandarin". However, Guangji dialect, which is located on the riverside, has close contacts with Jiangxi and other places. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Jiangxi immigrants had formed a certain scale, and the characteristics of Gan dialect were well preserved. However, it is very different from Nanchang dialect today in pronunciation, and retains seven main tone values, such as level tone, upper tone, upper tone, upper tone, qu 1, qu 2 and ru tone. In terms of vocabulary, the traditional Guangji dialect almost completely retains the vocabulary of Gan dialect around the Ming Dynasty.
