1. The man must first notarize five copies of the single affidavit in the court where the household registration is located in Taiwan Province Province (five copies of the household registration transcript, ID card, seal and photo, and apply to the household registration office first), and know the location of the woman's household registration.

2. After about 4~6 weeks, ask the notary office where the woman's household registration is located whether she has received the single affidavit. After receiving it, she can get it (ID card, man's passport, Taiwanese certificate). The woman must first apply for an unmarried certificate.

3. Go to the civil affairs bureau where the woman's household registration is located, ask the designated medical examination hospital (usually a hospital above the municipal level) and go for a medical examination. Generally, I will pick it up the next day, and I can get it on the same day with more money (be sure to bring photos and ID cards of both parties).

4. Bring the woman's unmarried certificate, the marriage health examination certificate of both parties and the single oath (personal photos and group photos of both parties are required), and then go to the civil affairs bureau where the woman's household registration is located to apply for a marriage certificate (female ID card, household registration book, male ID card, passport and Taiwanese certificate are required).

5. After the marriage certificate is completed, go to the notary office where the woman's household registration is located and apply for the health examination certificate, marriage certificate and kinship certificate. In about 4-6 weeks, she will go to SEF, Taiwan Province Province.

6. Go to the SEF office certificate, then go to the household registration office for marriage registration, and at the same time handle the transcript of household registration, and then go to the immigration office to handle the formalities for the woman to enter Taiwan.

7. Information requested by the Immigration Department:

8. A copy of the entry permit will be issued in a week or so, and this permit will be given to the woman for mainland residents to travel to and from Taiwan and endorsement (ID card, photo, household registration book and application form received by the Public Security Bureau must be prepared).

9. The woman's application must be filled in according to the specified items, and the police station and public security bureau at the place of residence shall add comments and seal, submit it to the public security bureau and send it to the Municipal Public Security Bureau for handling.

10. When the woman's certificate is completed in about 3-5 weeks, she can buy a plane ticket to Taiwan Province Province. Before entering the stage, she can get the original entry permit at a designated place, usually the China Travel Agency at the Hongkong Airport.

12. You can apply for a residence permit through your relatives and work in Taiwan Province Province.

15. Just married in the past, the customs and people's feelings on both sides of the strait will be different. If it is inconvenient, be patient. Supplement: Some civil affairs bureaus will ask for proof of the man's work and income, which can be done in Taiwan Province province first, but not necessarily.

Mainland spouses will be counted during the reunion in Taiwan Province-the number of applications from the immigration bureau will increase greatly.

According to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior, article 17 of the Regulations on People's Relations across the Taiwan Strait changes the time for mainland spouses to obtain Chinese identity cards from eight years to six years, and cancels the requirement that reunion and marriage must last for two years before relatives can apply for residence. In the future, after mainland spouses are allowed to enter the country by reunion, their relatives can apply for residence, four years later, they can apply for long-term residence, and two years later, they can apply for settlement. In order to protect the rights and interests of mainland spouses who have already lived in Taiwan Province, those who have been reunited and legally resided for more than one year 183 days before the amendment to the Ordinance takes effect may also be transferred to family residence or long-term residence. In addition, since the Labor Committee of the Executive Yuan has relaxed the working rights of mainland spouses during their dependent residence in coordination with the amendment to the Employment Service Law, the Immigration Department estimates that there will be 84,000 applications for changes of mainland spouses at various stages, starting from185438+in August 1998.

According to the Immigration Bureau, according to the newly revised Regulations on People's Relations across the Taiwan Strait, there are about 26,000 reunited people in Taiwan Province, who can directly apply for family residence. If you live in Taiwan Province for a long time and have accumulated for 6 years, you can apply for settlement of about 20,000 people; In addition, counting the reunion period, there are about 28,000 people who can change from family members to long-term residents, and the number of people waiting for reunion after approval by the Straits Exchange Foundation is about 1 10,000, so a total of 84,000 people will apply.
