Kuaiji Mountain Longhua Temple Daxiong Hall

Coming out of the Tianwang Temple, I came to the main hall of Longhua Temple in Huiji Mountain-Daxiong Hall. In front of us, the Hall of the Great Hero is supported by a roof with double eaves and a 2.4-meter-long white marble pedestal. There are floating clouds carved on the outer wall of the base and a white marble fence around it. The whole hall was ornately decorated with eaves and tiles. The indoor and outdoor beams are decorated with golden dragons and seal paintings, and there are as many as 9 immortal animals on the roof. The main hall is supervised by the royal family and has nine rooms, which shows the royal momentum of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. There are two mighty Taihe lions in front of the temple, beautifully carved and lifelike. Two centuries-old ginkgo trees on both sides are "immigrants" transplanted to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Now they are covered with green branches and birds are singing cicadas. Siddhartha Gautama, ten disciples and Guanyin woodcarving statue on the island are enshrined in the temple; There is also a cloister for tourists to enjoy the Buddha statue in all directions. Siddhattha gotama in front of Siddhartha Gautama is magnificent. The Buddha statue is full, beautiful and smooth, and his eyes are lovingly watching every pilgrim who comes to worship. Standing on the cloisters on both sides, you can have a panoramic view of the Buddha statue. You can walk across the street and look directly at the Buddha. The Buddha in front of him nodded and lowered his eyebrows, loving and humble. According to Buddhist scriptures, the first sentence of Buddha Sakyamuni after becoming a Buddha under the bodhi tree sighed: "Strange, strange, all beings in the world have the wisdom and virtue of Tathagata, but they can't prove it because of persistent delusion." It means that all beings are equal, and everyone has Buddha nature (the nature of becoming a Buddha). This is the original intention of our cloister design. The infiltration of humanized sculpture concept and the application of traditional sculpture technology have contributed a lot here. This statue aims to mention the "three hearts" of tourists in the form of artistic expression-respect, joy and self-confidence, just as we can't help but feel respect and joy when we meet our leaders, elders and parents. The Buddha statue is exquisite and atmospheric, using traditional bodiless technology, with a layer of tung oil and a layer of linen to prevent it from cracking over time; In large-scale statues, the Japanese gold plating technology in the Tang Dynasty was first applied to the surface, making the whole Buddha statue as bright and seamless as electroplating. In the treatment of backlight (halo behind the Buddha), all the backlight is placed on the wall to reduce the burden of the Buddha.

Ten disciples like the Buddha are surrounded by ten disciples of the Buddha, and the two venerable persons nearby are Ananda and Ye Jia, which generally refer to both civil and military skills. Ananda, the full name of Ananda, is known as "listening more first", that is, it is longer than memory. Legend has it that after Sakyamuni's nirvana, 500 arhats got together. In order to prevent heresy, Ananda recited Sakyamuni's remarks before his death, quoted the right people and compiled them into Buddhist classics. Ye Jia, whose full name is "Mahakaya", is called "the first Zen master" by the world, which means to shake up or get rid of the troubles of dirt. He is the founder of Zen Buddhism, and the famous "smiling at flowers" is the origin of Zen Buddhism. Legend has it that once the Great Brahma King who came to listen to the Dharma asked the Buddha for the "supreme Dharma" and presented him with a golden Polo flower (a kind of lotus flower) to show his respect. The Buddha didn't say a word, but held the golden polo flower in his hand and showed it to the audience. At that time, the disciples of the Buddhas, the French king and others who were present came to listen to the Buddha's statement and could not understand the intention of the Buddha's move. Only Mahagaya, the great disciple who stood beside the Buddha and had been listening attentively to the Buddha's statement, got the message and smiled. At this time, the Buddha announced to the public: "I have a good mind to hide nirvana, and I have no reality. The subtle practice belongs to Mahayana." The other eight venerable persons are Mu, Fu Louna, Xu Bodhi, Sharifutsu, Luo, You, Aniludo and Jia Zhiyan.

Island Guanyin Station, located behind Siddhartha Gautama, is an island Guanyin woodcarving, carved from precious camphor wood, with a faint fragrance in the air. The full name of Guanyin Bodhisattva is "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with Mercy and Compassion", and it is an ancient Buddha with eternal merits. It is called "Buddhism is as bright as Tathagata" and is now a bodhisattva of all beings. Guanyin is the embodiment of compassion, and "yet we called and urged a thousand times before she started toward us" is the portrayal of Bodhisattva's "merciless, merciless" spirit. This group of sculptures is a scene of Guanyin Bodhisattva's purdue sentient beings: the Bodhisattva holds a clean bottle upside down, and seawater is continuously injected into the bottle, which means sucking up all the seawater and surrendering to the dragon. Guanyin Bodhisattva is flanked by a rich boy and a dragon girl, both of whom are future Buddhas. Surrounded by thirty-two incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva incarnates as Buddha, Heaven and Man, Lohan, Men and Women, Boy, Officer and Lay Man, and all kinds of characters are saved at will. It can be said that "the body of all beings is equivalent, and the bodhisattva is now in the body."
