July 2022 13. The Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province approved the Jiufengshan Pumped Storage Power Station project in Huixian County, and started construction on July 13, 2022. This project became the first approved project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period of Nangui Pumped Storage Power Station in Henan Province, marking the successful completion of the preliminary work of Jiufeng Mountain Project and starting a new construction journey. Jiufengshan Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Huangshui Town, huixian city, with a total investment of 13 1.6 1 100 million yuan, and a total installed capacity of 2 1 10,000 kilowatts, including six reversible water pump hydrogenerators with a single machine capacity of 350,000 kilowatts. The main construction contents include upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water conveyance system, underground powerhouse and switch station.
