How do pets enter Singapore?

Article 48 Small animals refer to dogs, cats, birds or other pets kept by families. Wild animals and animals with strange shapes or easy to hurt people, such as snakes, do not belong to the scope of small animals and cannot be transported as luggage.

Forty-ninth passengers carrying small animals shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions:

(a) put forward at the time of reservation, and agreed by the carrier and the relevant continuous carrier;

(two) on the day of flight, according to the time specified by the carrier, the small animals will be transported to the airport for consignment;

(3) They must hold valid certificates required by People's Republic of China (PRC) and relevant countries to transport small animals for exit, entry and transit;

(4) Small animals must be packed in strong containers suitable for their characteristics. The container should be able to prevent small animals from damaging, escaping and sticking out of the container to hurt passengers, luggage or goods, and prevent feces from overflowing, so as not to pollute aircraft equipment and other items.

Article 50 Small animals, their containers and food carried by passengers shall be consigned to the carrier, and the freight shall be paid according to the excess baggage. It shall not be transported in the passenger cabin unless authorized by the carrier.

Article 51 Passengers shall take full responsibility for the checked small animals. The carrier shall not be liable for injury, loss, delay, illness or death caused by refusing entry or transit of small animals.

Article 52 Guide dogs and hearing dogs refer to dogs that have been specially trained to guide the blind or help the deaf.

Fifty-third blind or deaf passengers carrying guide dogs or hearing dogs on the plane with a doctor's certificate shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Seeing-eye dogs or hearing dogs, their containers and food, which are carried with the consent of the carrier, can be transported free of charge and are not included in the free baggage allowance;

(2) Guide dogs or hearing dogs brought into the passenger cabin must wear a muzzle and tie a leash before boarding the plane, and shall not occupy seats or let them run at will. If transported in a cargo hold, its container must comply with the provisions of Item (4) of Article 49 of these Rules;

(3) Other transportation conditions for receiving and transporting guide dogs or hearing dogs shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of Items (1) and (3) of Article 49 and Article 51 of these Detailed Rules;

(4) If it is not suitable to transport guide dogs or hearing dogs on long-distance flights without stopovers or on a certain type of aircraft, the carrier may not accept the transport.
