Australian passport and visa renewal

Just go to the local Australian Consulate in China. It takes about three weeks, and the cost is about 80 Australian dollars, which is quite convenient.

The following is taken from the consulate website:

1. Please fill in the China passport/travel card application form in block letters with a black pen.

Two or three 2-inch bareheaded recent photos. The photo background is white or light blue, the size is 48mm×33mm, the portrait length is between 28 mm and 33 mm, and the width is between 21mm-24 mm. ..

Three. Submit the following materials

(1) Original China passport.

(2) A passport information page and a valid visa page in Australia.

Four. Other auxiliary materials

(1) If you have obtained a permanent residence visa in Australia for two years, you must fill in the declaration of non-participation in nationality or provide the "Resident Identity Card" issued by the Australian Immigration Department, that is, Form 283;

(2) Children born in China whose parents are citizens and have not obtained permanent residency in Australia can apply for China passports; If one parent is an Australian citizen or has obtained permanent residency in Australia, the child has Australian citizenship and cannot apply for a China passport.

When children apply for passports, their parents should bring their passports to our library and submit valid passports, marriage certificates, children's birth certificates and copies of the above documents. Parents of children born out of wedlock are required to provide relevant certificates of living together and submit copies.

(3) If you apply for a replacement of your lost passport, please show the report of loss reporting issued by the police station and fill in the Report of Lost Passport in China.

(4) If the passport is damaged and cannot provide fragments, a statement of the situation must be provided.

(5) Citizens of South Australia and China, Northern Territory who apply for China passports by post, please bring a self-addressed envelope with postage paid and go to the local designated Chinese community for 1 copy of the Confirmation of Meeting. If they have obtained a permanent residence visa for two years, please fill out 65,438+0 declarations of non-participation in nationality in front of Chinese community witnesses.

Five, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots who do not hold a valid "Home Visit Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Compatriots" or Taiwan Province compatriots who do not hold a valid "mainland travel permit for taiwan residents" may apply for a "Travel Permit of the People's Republic of China" if they go to Chinese mainland.

6. Due to technical reasons, there is no express service for the new issuance, renewal and replacement of passports, and the normal photo taking time is about three weeks. Those who reissue their passports have to wait for the notice to collect them. The processing time for travel permits is four working days.

Seven. Cost:

(a) Normal issuance and extension of passports, 80 Australian dollars each;

(2) After the passport expires or is slightly damaged, it is necessary to issue a new passport, each 150 Australian dollars;

(3) A new passport after the passport is lost or seriously damaged 175 Australian dollars (no additional mail handling fee);

(4) Travel cards are 40 Australian dollars each.

(5) For mailing, an additional mail handling fee of $ 10 is required for each envelope.

Our library doesn't accept cash. Please pay by money order, bank check, company check or credit card. If payment is made by credit card, the handling fee of 1 will be charged below 100, and the handling fee of 1.5 will be charged above 100.

8. According to the relevant provisions of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China, our embassies and consulates abroad will no longer accept passport extensions. Please apply for an extension of your passport before it expires.
