This is the outdoor hot spring bath we went to. There are some swimming pools and saunas indoors, but the alpine hot springs are still cool outdoors! When a friend nearby said, "I have never seen snow once." Cold snow floated on my face and my body was still soaked in warm mountain hot spring water.

After taking a shower, several people cooked a large pot of sauerkraut instant noodles to eat. Rice cookers and instant noodles are also necessary in Switzerland, because things here are really expensive and not delicious. It is also a good experience for friends to eat instant noodles and chat after soaking in hot springs:)

Goodbye, our next stop is Matterhorn. This name may sound strange, but when it comes to the fragrant and hot chocolate wrapped in the yellow triangle, is it familiar? The prototype is this mountain.

The reason why we gave up the famous Jungfrau and came here is that the Jungfrau is quite expensive, and in the eyes of local people, Matterhorn is not inferior to Jungfrau at all, and we avoid places with many tourists, so this place has a unique flavor.

In winter, some mountain roads in Switzerland will be closed because they are too difficult to drive and may be dangerous. So there was this kind of train, a train specially for pulling cars. Because the Zermatt area where Matterhorn is located is closed to motor vehicles in order to protect the environment, we live in the homestay in the village of Saint nicklaus, not far from Zermatt.

I thought I had taken the Panshan Highway before, and other roads were just like that. As a result, we were fooled by the navigation on a narrow path at a corner. All the way up the mountain, the road gradually turned into a cliff, and the car in winter could not get up at all. Fortunately, we have reached the edge of the village. Let's go to the local people in the surrounding homestays or restaurants for help. I really met a kind person and a large group of people came out. Some help us install snow chains on the car, some sprinkle salt particles on the ground to increase friction, some clean up the snow on the road ahead, and some strong men in the mountains help us push the car. One even stood on the edge of the cliff and pushed. How touching!

Later, I learned that this road is for pedestrians, not cars. Maybe you can drive a car in summer, but the ground is too slippery in winter.
