Why is the name of Taiwan Province Province different from that of Chinese mainland, and Taiwan Province Province says county first, then city?

There are various place names in Taiwan Province Province, many of which are closely related to mainland immigrants.

Three major and one primary school Zhangzhou District

Zhangzhou people visited Taiwan Province Province earlier, and the settlements of Fujian fellow villagers can be seen everywhere on the island of Taiwan Province Province. There are three typical "small Zhangzhou" areas.

First, the ancestral home is Nantun District, Taichung City, Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, and the population accounts for about 70% of the total population. The earliest settlement established by Zhangzhou immigrants here is called "Ploughshare Shop". At that time, there was a great demand for plowshares in cultivated land, and many blacksmiths specializing in making plows and other agricultural tools appeared, which were called "plowshare shops". It gradually developed into a prosperous block in Taichung today and was renamed Nantun District.

Followed by the Taipei area, especially with Banqiao as the center. At the end of Qing Dynasty, Banqiao Lins' Mansion occupied half of the country, so Banqiao was also called "Lins' City". At that time, the settlements of Zhangzhou people were one after another, and there was a saying that "all the thirteen villages in Banqiao were Zhangzhou people".

Counting Keelung area, Zhangzhou people opened the portal of "Liaodao" (now Heping Island) in Keelung Port in Zheng Chenggong's time. In the first year of Yongzheng (A.D. 1723), Zhangzhou immigrants arrived in the chicken coop (now Keelung) from Bali, hence the name "the ground is like a chicken coop". During the Guangxu period, Zhangzhou people accounted for more than half of the population here, and built a Temple-based Palace here to worship the "Zhang Kai Holy King".
