Is it difficult to study in Germany and then go to America? Is it necessary to learn IELTS?

Personally, it is not a wise choice to go to the United States with Germany as a springboard.

First of all, Germany mainly teaches in German. Of course, there are several courses taught in English, but not many. German universities can apply for English courses with IELTS or TOEFL (engineering IELTS 6.5 is enough), and the best industrial universities recommend GRE scores.

Secondly, the application of German universities is very complicated, and it takes almost one year from the beginning of application to the final admission and visa application. These include all kinds of documents (from primary school to university graduation certificate, etc. ), go to the audit department to participate in APS written test and interview (to assess all kinds of knowledge you have learned in this science), apply for school (some schools even need telephone interview), and sign a contract. The time span is too long, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. If you don't really want to study in Germany, it is not recommended to apply.

German universities are very strict, and you can't change your major when you apply. Even if the undergraduate major is anything, graduate students should basically study along this major. This course is difficult. Almost everyone in our class failed in various courses to varying degrees last semester, and the graduation rate was low. Although they are two-year masters, it is difficult for ordinary people to graduate normally within two years, which takes 2.5 to 3 years or even longer.

You mean to go to the United States to study for a doctorate after finishing your master's degree in Germany. Doctors in the United States basically ask you to read the master's content again before continuing your research. Therefore, it is not cost-effective to go to the United States to study PhD after finishing the master's degree. The best way is to directly apply for a Ph.D. in the United States after finishing undergraduate studies in China, otherwise master students from other countries will also study in vain.

If you must take a master's degree as a springboard, then go to traditional places such as Australia and Singapore. The one-year master's degree system is short, the language is English, the application is simple and convenient (less than two months from preparing materials to getting the admission notice), and there are various previous experiences for reference.
