However, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security claimed that the agency was not under its supervision, which was seriously inconsistent with the agency's propaganda on its official website. In addition, the reporter contacted the AFA branch of the American Psychological Association, and they confirmed that the certificate of "registered international psychological counselor" issued by this institution was not recognized by the American Psychological Association. An institution that has neither been approved by the relevant state departments nor recognized by industry organizations has been widely promoted nationwide under the perjury of the "American certification certificate" with high gold content.

In the statement on the training courses and certificates of psychological counseling, it is emphasized once again that after the cancellation of the national vocational qualification examination for psychological counselors, government departments will no longer issue psychological counseling certificates, nor will they approve any foreign certification programs for psychological counselors. The new qualification certificate of psychological counselors in the market under the banner of government or international certification is perjury, which is not recognized by the domestic psychological service industry.

In the Measures for the Registration of Psychological Counselors, it is stipulated that all the comprehensive training certificates obtained through the training and assessment organized by national psychological academic organizations and scientific research and teaching institutions according to law can pass the registration system of the Psychological Counselor Working Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association, so the certified psychological counselors who can pass the system registration and verification mean that their qualifications have been recognized by the industry. Among the national psychological academic organizations and research and teaching institutions, the Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences is the highest academic institution of natural science, the highest consulting institution of science and technology, and the comprehensive research and development center of natural science and high technology. Therefore, the basic comprehensive training course for psychological counselors launched by institutions is more authoritative, academic and rigorous than the industry. For the majority of psychological counselors, they can obtain the training certificate of psychological counselors by participating in the training and examination of psychological counseling service institutions authorized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
