Technical index of Longmen reservoir

1. Watershed Features: Longmen Reservoir is located on the main stream of Caohe River in Mancheng County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Caohe River belongs to the Daqinghe River system in Haihe River Basin, which originates from Wu Huiling (Taihang Mountain Range) in Yixian County, Baoding City, and flows from northwest to southeast through Yixian County, the hilly area of Mancheng County to Shitou Village in Mancheng County. The terrain in this area is high in the west and low in the east, with exposed rock strata, severe weathering, poor vegetation and serious soil erosion. 2. Dam: The current reservoir hub project includes four auxiliary dams, namely, main dam, Longmen, Jiang Sha, Lizhuang and Shibapo, overflow dam, spillway, spillway tunnel, emergency spillway gate and two water conveyance tunnels. Both the main dam and the auxiliary dam are homogeneous earth dams.

3. Overflow dam: At present, the overflow dam is an open practical weir, the spillway is converted into a spillway gate, and the overflow dam adopts a practical weir.

4. Spillway: The overflow weir is a broad-topped weir, the left bank of the spillway is close to the cliff, and the right bank is a concrete guide wall. Emergency spillway gate is a homogeneous earth dam.

5. Exit tunnel: the spillway tunnel is a three-hole reinforced concrete pressureless tunnel, and the main dam water conveyance tunnel and the Lizhuang auxiliary dam water conveyance tunnel are both reinforced concrete circular tunnels.

6. Hydropower Station: The power station is located behind the overflow dam.

7. Reservoir inundation treatment: the land acquisition elevation of Longmen Reservoir is 130.66m, the flooded farmland is 16900 mu, the resettlement elevation is 130.66m, and the relocated population is 5384.

8. Irrigation water supply: The designed irrigation area at the downstream of Longmen Reservoir is1/kloc-0.5 million mu, the actual irrigation area is 64,000 mu, and the annual water supply is 9.37 million m3/ year.
