Where are the most orchids in Weishan?

Orchid resources are most distributed in Maanshan Township, Weishan County.

Due to the mild climate, moderate annual rainfall, abundant sunshine, many mountains and few dams in the territory and prominent three-dimensional climate, these natural conditions are conducive to the growth of orchids.

Weishan is one of the main producing areas of orchids in Yunnan. Orchid resources are mainly distributed in the areas bordering Yongping, Yangbi, Changning, Fengqing and Dali in Qinghua, Wuyin, niujie and Maanshan townships of our county.

Weishan folk have traditional cultural habits of loving, planting and appreciating orchids since ancient times, and have rich cultivation experience.

The main species recorded in Weishan Yi and Hui Autonomous County Records are cinnabar orchid, New Year orchid, Cymbidium hybridum, Taibai orchid, Cymbidium hybridum, Cymbidium hybridum, Xiahui, Qiu Zhi, Snow Mountain, Lotus Orchid, Green Stems, Purple Stems, Bee Orchid, Flowering Fragrant, Aquilaria Resinatum, Cymbidium hybridum, Douban Orchid, Benlan, Jasper Orchid, Cold Orchid and so on.
