What impressed you most about the movie Forrest Gump? What moved you the most?

The theme of Forrest Gump is reconciliation.

Although there are various characters and eggs interspersed in these decades, the stories mainly occur between Forrest Gump and his mother, Forrest Gump and Jenny, Forrest Gump and Bubba, Forrest Gump and Captain Dan, and these four groups of characters actually represent reconciliation with the previous generation, liberals, blacks and wars.

However, the pretense and even hypocrisy of the above-mentioned "reconciliation" lies in that Forrest Gump, as a white male, has always been in the position of winner giver.

He ingratiated himself with the black man and forged a brotherhood beyond life and death. He even realized a standard American dream. In the new chapter of the American dream in Forrest Gump, black people participated in the beginning and the end innovatively. At the beginning, he inherited Bubba's legacy, and finally made a fortune through a shrimp boat, which in turn gave it to Bubba's family. Obviously, Forrest Gump threw out the best solution to the racial problem on behalf of white Americans at this time-"You don't have to follow Martin Luther King's example and shed their blood. You can watch white people get rich and then wait for their generosity. So you see, Forrest Gump met Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon. All the important historical figures intertwined with his fate in the United States in these decades are white men, but there has never been a black man or woman, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Betty? Friedan, where have they all gone?

Remember Forrest Gump and Jenny's wedding? After "reconciliation with God", Captain Dan put on a prosthetic leg and hugged an Asian woman. He stood up again with "titanium alloy used to make spacecraft" and skillfully responded to the joke of "space flight", while his fiancee with Asian face was a Vietnamese immigrant. Even if we can't go back to Vietnam and kill Rambo like in First Blood 2, this group of American filmmakers will always find a way to secretly announce some kind of victory after this "only failure" for more than ten years.
