"3+3" College Entrance Examination Comprehensive Reform Provinces (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan):

Public security majors (public security science, public security science (direction of police law), investigation science, public security information science, criminology, public security management, foreign-related policing, police command and tactics, public security political work, exit and entry management) require elective subject politics; Physics and chemistry are required for public security technology majors (criminal science and technology, traffic management engineering, safety prevention engineering, network security and law enforcement, public security audio-visual technology, data policing technology).

"3+ 1+2" comprehensive reform provinces for college entrance examination (Hebei, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong and Chongqing);
