Moreover, more than a dozen Moroccan political parties have set up branches in Western Sahara, with frequent activities. Since Morocco occupied Western Sahara, it has invested more than one billion dollars to build cities and roads in Western Sahara, and Morocco has 6.5438+0.5 million troops and administrative personnel in Western Sahara.

On the other hand, the Frente POLISARIO controlled the narrow border of Western Sahara. At the same time, the Frente Polisario refugee camp is located in Tindouf province, Algeria, and is divided into four camps, each of which is divided into several small camps, with harsh natural conditions. In order to help the refugee camps, the United Nations provides about $3.5 million in aid to the Frente POLISARIO every year, while the European Union and western and Nordic countries provide some food aid to the refugee camps.
