For the first time, you must submit your application in person to the exit-entry administration office where your account is located. The application materials are:

Resident ID card and its copy (copied on A4 paper, or copied on the same paper), fill in the Application Form for Entry-Exit Certificate of China Citizens, and take two 2-inch color photos with light background (you can also take photos at your own expense). At the same time, go to Hong Kong and Macao for endorsement respectively.
