Where is the specialty of Tiaotou cake?

Striped cakes are traditional cakes in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. They are made of glutinous rice flour mixed with fine sand and grown into strips.

Cake is a major feature of Jiangnan food, and the best cake was mentioned by Lu, a Suzhou scholar in Qing Dynasty. Shanghai is adjacent to Suzhou, and many Suzhou people immigrated to Shanghai in their early years, so it is natural to bring Soviet-style cakes to Shanghai. The practice of long cake

Pour 1, 50g glutinous rice flour and 20g rice flour into a bowl, slowly pour boiling water, stir the rice flour with chopsticks to make the rice flour fully absorb water, and then knead it repeatedly to make the dough smooth.

4. Remove the plastic wrap, cut both ends of the cylindrical sticky rice strip with a knife to expose the bean paste filling, and then cut the whole sticky rice strip into 8cm long sections.

5. Put the sticky rice strips into a plate, then put them into a steamer, steam them on high fire for 6 minutes, and then take them out of the pot.
