3. Work visa. Awarded to businessmen, laborers who invest or engage in business activities in Papua New Guinea or foreigners whose spouses are citizens of Papua New Guinea. This visa is valid for up to three years and can be extended. To apply for this kind of visa, the employer needs to apply for an employment permit from the Ministry of Labor of Papua New Guinea in advance (providing notarized documents such as the company's vacancy certificate, the applicant's innocence certificate, education background, work experience, etc.).
