Lishui is the southernmost port city in South Korea, which consists of Lishui Peninsula and 3 17 islands. Overlooking Lishui from the air, it looks like a beautiful butterfly, facing Nanhai County in the east and Shuntian Bay in the west. It is not only one of the distribution centers and processing centers of aquatic products in Korea, but also the forefront of international shipping in Korea. Interestingly, Lishui has set four themes for the city: marine city, unique city, gourmet city and historical city. These four themes are integrated with the ocean as the center. Therefore, following the failure of the bid for the 20 10 World Expo, Lishui City once again applied for the 20 12 professional World Expo with the theme: "The sea, the place where we want to live."

Lishui, as a seaport city, has a desirable blue sky and blue sea, continuous mountains and endless beach scenery, which makes people linger. The famous Wutong Island is a beautiful island, which is connected with the land by a 768-meter-long seawall. The rare trees such as 194 species of winter cypress on the island are harmoniously connected with the cliff. Smell the sound of waves lapping on the shore, climb the stairs, pass through the deep bamboo tunnel, and experience the freshness of the sea breeze at the wind crossing, so that you can deeply feel the interest of nature. When you board the lighthouse, you can see the large and small islands dotted in the blue waves, and you can have a panoramic view of the sea. Duodaohai National Park is located in a calm sea area, and the strange rocks such as Gongyan, Pingyan, Elephant Trunk Rock and Nose Cave set each other off and become interesting, forming a treasure house of natural scenery. Sand island is a mysterious island, which is connected by seven islands. At low tide, a part of the seabed will be exposed, forming a channel between islands. There are two or three Moses miracles here every year, and recently more than 4,000 dinosaur footprints have been discovered, making it a worldwide dinosaur data research area. At night, when you stroll through Tu Shan Island, you can see the 450-meter-long Tu Shan Bridge. Every minute, 17 kinds of unpredictable and charming lights are connected with the bright lights of the island city, which is dizzying. It can be said that in Lishui, you can feel the amorous feelings of the sea everywhere. It is said that it is a unique city, which is probably related to this.

Lishui was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO on 1996. Lishui has many ancient cultural sites, many colonial historical buildings and relics. The famous Zhennan Pavilion is a guest house built during the Li Dynasty, and it is also the largest existing single-story wooden structure in Korea. It was once the control battalion of the Japanese navy during the Nonchen War, and was known as the holy land for saving the country. As a religious shrine with a history of thousands of years, Lishui's temples are also very famous. Xingguo temple has the largest Buddhist painting in Korea; Hanshan Temple is one of the eight scenic spots in Lishui, where the twilight bell always attracts tourists. In addition, there are famous temples such as Longmen Temple and Shiquan Temple.

Lishui, as a gourmet city, is closely related to the sea. According to different seasons, people can taste different foods, such as sushi in spring and autumn, eel cooking in summer and roasted oysters in winter. At five o'clock every morning, the sales field in the fishing port area of Judong, the sushi street under the Tushan Bridge, and the sushi center in Wanshengli began to be very lively. People choose fresh seafood in glass fish tanks to make raw fish and sushi. Amazingly, these seafood trading centers are very clean and tidy, and there is no smell or mess. Restaurants in Lishui can be seen everywhere, and there are dozens of famous delicious foods around Zhongyang Road. Listening to the waves and tasting seafood dishes at night, I can't help but say that this is an imaginary place.
