What is Nicholas?

Often refers to the meaning of Santa Claus and Nicholas, sometimes translated into Saint Nicholas, Nicholas, Nicholas, Nicolo, Nicholas, Nicholas and so on. Santa's real name should be Saint Nicholas.

According to legend, he was born in the Inner Harbor of Byzantium (present-day Turkey) in 245. When Nicholas was young, his father died, leaving him a huge fortune, so he began to donate money anonymously to the poor, especially children.

He is associated with the legend of Santa Claus because once in order to save three poor girls from being sold, Saint Nicholas threw gold from their window at night. Others said he threw it out of the chimney and left it in the socks in front of their bed. Since then, the tradition of hanging socks at Christmas has begun to spread, and Saint Nicholas has also become a gift-giving image in people's minds.
