Xiecun Town is located on the north bank of the Han River. It is a large agricultural town in the west of Yang County, 10 kilometers west of the county. In 1984, Xiecun Township was established as an organic town. In July 2011, Xushui Town was merged into Xiecun Town. . It is adjacent to Qishi Town, Yishui Town and Machang Town.
