Re-entry Permit

Foreigners living in Korea who wish to leave Korea and re-enter the country within a specific period need not apply for a new visa as long as they have obtained a re-entry permit before leaving the country.

citizens of France, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Suriname do not need to apply for re-entry permits as long as they return to Korea within the residence period reported to the Korean authorities.
