Fenshui Town, Wanzhou District

Fenshui town is located in the west of Wanzhou, about 26 kilometers away from Wanzhou city. It is the junction of three districts and counties, bordering Liangping District and Zhongxian County, and is known as the "West Gate of Wanzhou". The place name of Fenshui Town comes from its geographical environment. The mountain ridge to the north of Fenshui Town is a watershed, which flows to Wanzhou and Liangping respectively, hence the name Fenshui.

Fenshui Town has a registered population of102400 (according to Fenshui Town official website), which is the most populous town in Wanzhou District. The GDP of Fenshui Town is about 2 billion yuan (according to the data of Wanzhou Statistical Yearbook 20 19), and it is also the first in Wanzhou Town.

Fenshui Town has many titles, including National Key Town, Chongqing Central Town, Chongqing Top 100 Business Town and so on. However, the market size of Fenshui Town is not prominent in northeast Chongqing, and the built-up area of Fenshui Field is about 1 km2. After the original Sanzheng Town was merged into Fenshui, there were intermittent built-up areas in the valley between Fenshui Field and Sanzheng Field. If you count the built-up area in the valley, this is obviously not a regular market town, after all, it is too long and narrow.

Contrast Linjiang Town in Kaizhou District

Linjiang Town is located in the southwest of Kaizhou District, about 18km away from the urban area. The registered population of the whole town is107,000 (official website data of Linjiang town), which is slightly more than that of Fenshui town, and the gap is not big and can be ignored. The GDP of Linjiang Town is about 2.5 billion yuan (20 19), more than that of Fenshui Town.

The market towns in Linjiang Town are obviously much more concentrated than those in Fenshui Town, and the built-up area of the core area is about 2 square kilometers. From the satellite image, Linjiang Town is much more obvious than Shuiji Town. There are expressways in Fenshui Town and expressways in Linjiang Town.

So in general, Fenshui and Linjiang are the largest towns in their respective districts and counties. Compared with them, it is equally divided, and Linjiang Town is slightly better.
